My trip to Jogjakarta was really fun! I enjoyed riding the plane. I went there with Air Asia. In the plane, we had “Snack Attack” which is Air Asia food. I ate Oreo cookies.

The hotel I stayed at was Santika Hotel. It was a really great hotel. The rooms were so luxurious. There was a TV in the room which has lots of channels including Disney, HBO, Cinemax, AXN, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and other varieties of channels. We booked two rooms, one for me and my sister, the other for my parents and my little brother. Every morning, there`s a breakfast buffet. There were bacon, cheese, toast, scrambled and omelet egg, traditional Indonesian cakes, Indonesian meals and juices and many other delicious food!
This is the room that we stayed in!
There were two swimming pools there. An adult pool and the baby pool. I had to swim in the baby pool with my little brother until my big sister comes on the first day. The adult pool was great to swim in! I felt like I was swimming in the ocean. Also, my family and I could`nt swim in the ocean there because it wasn`t safe. The waves are really big. Anyway, everyone at the hotel(staffs and manager) were really, really kind and polite! I should tell you, some Indonesians are very nice!
So instead, we went to a lot of malls and we went to the museum too. The malls we went to were Saphir Square, Malioboro Mall, and Carrefour.
Malioboro Mall
The restaurants there are very nice and unique. My two favourite restaurants there were Suharti Ayam Goreng and Adem Ayem. I must say, the fried chicken at Suharti Ayam Goreng is very, very tasty!! I REALLY LOVED IT! So did my family. Also the fried rice at Adem Ayem is really FASCINATING!
We also went to a Traditional Indonesian Store which is in Kraton. There were puppets, batiks, shoes, traditional cloth, key chains, many types of souvenirs and Yogyakarta T- shirts. I bought a pink T-shirt with Jogja written on it. My mother bought batiks and my father, sister and brother bought Yogyakarta T-shirts. I was really happy.
I stayed in Indonesia for 3 nights and 4 days. After all the fun, we went home with joy and hope to come back next time! I really love to travel! Who wouldn`t right?
