The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Beginning is a 2008 Disney animated feature film, a direct-to-video prequel to The Little Mermaid.I`m so excited! In this movie, Jodi Benson reprises her role as Ariel, in a story that is set around a year before the events in the original film. It is expected to be released to DVD on August 26, 2008. The movie features the appearance of Queen Athena, Ariel’s mother. You can see King Triton when he was young, he had brown hair, but to me, he still looked old. Ariel`s mother looked exactly like Ariel!

Big fan of all the little mermaid movies. Arial is the best disney princess ever. I cant wait to see the 3rd movie. In the previews Arials mother looks just like her. Im so exiced!!!!!!
Queen Athena looks so beautiful! She is my first and favorite mermaid now! Although I can’t get enough of Ariel. I hope there is more of Queen Athena and Ariel in products together!
